Board of Trustees
The UF Board of Trustees is the public body corporate of the university. It sets policy for the institution and serves as the institution's legal owner and final authority.

Faculty Senate
With 150 members elected to three-year terms, the senate shapes the university’s future and plays a key role in institutional governance.
President’s Cabinet
Responsible for University of Florida intercollegiate athletics programs.
The university’s chief academic officer, responsible for all matters that affect campus academic programs. Priorities include program quality, collaborative research, budgetary planning, faculty development, curriculum, and student recruitment.
Supervises leaders and teams responsible for business affairs, human resources, information technology, real estate, and audit functions.
Oversees UF Health, the most comprehensive academic health center in the Southeast. UF Health includes Florida’s health colleges, health-related research centers and institutes, hospitals, faculty physician practices, and other patient-care programs.
UF Health Shands is a private, not-for-profit hospital system affiliated with the University of Florida. It is part of University of Florida Health, the Southeast’s most comprehensive academic health center, with campuses in Gainesville and Jacksonville.
Oversees budgeting; financial planning, analysis, and reporting; finance, treasury, and accounting operations, and procurement.
Responsible for research, student, and institutional computing systems, as well as information technology governance.
Provides legal services and policy advice to Florida trustees, faculty and staff, and affiliates in their university roles.
Handles the resources generated for the university by the University of Florida Foundation, Inc., and the University of Florida Alumni Association.
Oversees the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), a federal-state-county partnership dedicated to developing and sharing knowledge in agricultural, human, and natural resources. UF/IFAS includes the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and their constituent schools and departments.
Chief fiscal and business officer in charge of university budgets. Oversees divisions providing business services, facilities services, transportation and parking, security, and other needs.
Leads the university’s student-recruitment, admission, registration, records-management, and financial-aid teams.
Secures government funding and substantive legislation that helps Florida provide teaching, research, and service. Also serves as university secretary, the executive administrator for the president on Board of Trustee matters.
Responsible for design, development, and implementation of all human resource management functions, including talent acquisition, professional development, benefits and more.
Directs Florida’s research enterprise, helping investigators identify grant opportunities, manage awards, protect intellectual property, develop industry partnerships, and more.
Leads university marketing and branding, media relations and news, issues management and public affairs, creative services and social media.
Leads career, counseling and wellness, leadership, care and conduct, housing, recreation, and other programs that help Florida students engage, transform and thrive in an evolving global community.
